CERTIFICATION OPERATIONS

Study Guides

FCB Study Guides provide applicants with insight into the written exams. Study Guides enhance applicant's preparation for the exams by listing all of the performance domains, tasks, and knowledge and skill statements from the Role Delineation Studies.

International Study Guide

This study guide contains much of the "need-to-know" information that ICRC/AODA uses in the preparation of their written examination.  This manual:

1. focuses on the major content areas of information used on the exam
2. reviews the process and procedures used in the testing process
3. provides guidance on how to take the exam

Criminal Justice Study Guide

The exam for addiction counselors in criminal justice settings focuses on theory and generally accepted practice.  A full description of each of the domain areas, as well as the knowledge and skills associated with them, is provided in each of the chapters in this guide.  The information provided within this study guide should be seen as a sampling of the theoretical and practical knowledge required for certification as an addiction professional in criminal justice settings.
